Motel Sokak is located in the old town of Sarajevo which is famous by Bascarsija. As a rule, the particular handicrafts in Bascarsija had their own streets which a certain type of goods has been manufactured and traded. Yet nowdays, on all sides, there are still workshops and stores in which the handicraft products from metal, stone, wood, glass, leather, wool are produced ... and sold more like souvenires then objects for use. Carsija has always been a centar of happenings. |

Exiting from our Motel you will find yourself in the main street of Sarajevo called Ferhadija. Street Ferhadija got it's name by the mosque which has the same name and which is located in that street. By walking in the street of Fethadija you will notice many shops, cafe bars, restaurants and places of different content. Ferhadija presents the main business part of our city, too. |

In neighborhood of Sokak Motel (approximetly 150 meters in circuit) there are monuments of three most spread religions in the world Islam, Christianity and Judeisme. This makes Sarajevo one of rare cities which possess such fortune and that is why Sarajevo is named "Little Jerusalem". |
